Updating Custom Content Types

Your new site includes custom organization and layouts for several content types.

The custom types on your site are:

• Events
• Services
• FAQ's
• Testimonials
• Team

Each content type has its own custom set of fields and settings that control how it looks on the live site.

We'll use Events as an example of how everything is structured.

When you head to events and select edit and event, you'll see the custom fields that need to be filled out to correctly display that event on the site. It's a good idea to look at a previous event as a reference when you add a new one.

Each field is labelled and allows a specific type of information to be added - like text, a url, or an image.

Once the fields are complete, hit update and it will show on the live site!

When viewing all events, you can also filter the list and edit some fields directly from the table. To do so, you must turn the Inline Edit switch above the table on.
